Over the past year, charities (including many local ones), have seen their fundraising badly affected by Covid restrictions.
At Chester Business Club we recognise the hard work that goes into keeping these vital assets running and our regular Charity Spotlights on Social Media highlight the great work of many.
We have now decided to combine fundraising for one of our key local charities, The Hospice of the Good Shepherd, with an online social event that will enable us all to meet up online, prior to the lifting of lockdown restrictions.
On Thursday 11th March, from 5pm to 6.30pm, we will be holding an online quiz (click here to enter) that is being described as a ‘fun fundraiser’. You can log on from home, you can create your own team screen or fly solo and we have renowned local celebrity, Nigel Bruce, as our guest quiz master.
Whilst many individuals and household groups have entered, it’s also a great opportunity for businesses to pay for their employees to enter. There will be six rounds on a variety of topics and there are already entrants of ‘all abilities’, just committed to having a fun evening!
We are tremendously grateful to all of the local businesses who have committed to supporting the event through sponsorship. Our grateful thanks go to:

This is not your normal Zoom event! Rather, it’s a light-hearted, mildly competitive one:
* It’s 90 mins, with a break
* Log on from home/office
* Create your own Screen Team or fly solo
* 6 Rounds x 10 questions (eg, Chester, Current Affairs, Music, Logos)
* Much, much better than regular zoom things
* It’s a fun fundraiser
All entrants receive a free raffle ticket with their £20 entry fee.
If you cannot take part, you can still support the Hospice by buying Raffle Tickets here.
