More stories Get in touchA free conference for Chester Business Club members and their guests took place in the Garret Theatre at Storyhouse on Monday 23 September 2024 from 5pm until 8pm.
Club President, Paddy Gill of PRS Telecoms, opened the event.
Club Chair, Jan Chillery of Aaron & Partners Solicitors, gave a short presentation about the Club’s ethos, its activities in the past year and upcoming events. Jan showed attendees the Club’s new website which had been designed and built by Made of More, and thanked Club member Sally Norris MD of Made Of More for her team’s hard work.
Ian Gordon of iKO Projects Ltd gave an exciting audio-visual presentation about the new Rooftop Social Club development on Pepper Street. It has wide potential for “active socialising”, community events and games, coupled with great food in a spacious area with retractable roof.
Club member David Muir of Code Nation then provided attendees with information about CBC Scholarships to assist digital literacy and workplace technology upskilling / reskilling in this area, for all ages. Over £15,000 in free training is available in the next few months under the CBC Code Nation Scholarship Scheme.
