A sell-out audience gathered at the Slow Boat Oriental Restaurant for the Chester Business Club’s Annual General Meeting when Andy Foster (Andy Foster Architects) was elected the new chairman of the Club in succession to Nick Hodson.
The AGM also saw Paddy Gill (PRS Telecom Ltd) elected as Vice-Chairman.
Three Club members were elected to serve on the Club’s Executive Council: Ed Feather (Humphreys of Chester/Auction House Chester), Kevin O’Reilly (Matthews of Chester) and Adrian Smyth (Cheshire Oaks Audi).
During the evening cheques totalling £20,000 were presented to the Club’s nominated charities: Chester Childbirth Appeal, the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, the Neuro Therapy Centre, Cheshire Autism Practical Support (ChAPS), Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service, the Mercian Regiment Benevolent Association, Vision Support, SPACE and Claire House Children’s Hospice.
