CHARITIES and good causes were presented with cheques totalling £15,000 during the annual general meeting of the Chester Business Club.
Claire House Children’s Hospice and Save The Family each received £5,000 as the two principal beneficiaries of the club’s annual Charity Ball.
Cheque presentations were also made to Bridge Community Farm, Hospice of The Good Shepherd, Chester Sports Association for People with Disability, Retreat House Chester and Chester Samaritans.
The AGM and post-meeting dinner were held at the Slow Boat Oriental Restaurant, Chester.
