Dinners

With numerous notable guest speakers over the years and a friendly atmosphere, we have built up an enviable reputation for our Club Dinners.

Our Dinner at Chester Zoo in May 2024 raised over £4,000 for the Zoo’s conservation projects. In June at Rowton Hall we focused on the July General Election and were joined by the parliamentary candidates.

Meetings

Taking place regularly throughout the year, our Club meetings are relaxed, friendly and welcoming.

Club5to7 usually takes place on the last Thursday of each month; check Events page for details. We also arrange business briefings to improve information and engagement in key Chester issues.

Our next AGM will be on 7 July 2025 when we celebrate with a sumptuous Chinese Banquet at the Slowboat in Chester with the Lord Mayor and our Charity partners.

Gatherings

At Chester Business Club we have several informal gatherings each year, including a quiz and trips to Chester Football Club, Rugby Club, Cricket Club, Polo Club and Chester Races. In November we remember Armistice Day at the Cheshire Military Museum and in December we have a very special Christmas Reception.

Charity

What started as an Annual Charity Walk has turned into several charitable events each year, including dinners, a golf day and THE Charity Ball, next on Saturday 12 October 2024 at Chester Racecourse – don’t miss out!
