Chester Business Club to host first Virtual Club Meeting

With the Club’s usual programme of Speaker Dinners curtailed because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are very pleased to announce a series of virtual Speaker Events to be delivered via Zoom.

The first of these will be on Tuesday 9th June 2020 at 7:00pm with guest speaker:

With many of the world’s Zoos facing the prospect of permanent closure (including the historic London Zoo), even Chester’s award-winning Zoo is facing the harsh realities brought about by Covid-19 financial impact. Find out the latest on the current situation for Chester Zoo here.

In this special event, Club colleague Jamie Christon will talk about facing up to the challenges of operating as a major visitor attraction in a post-virus environment whilst, at the same time, continuing its world-recognised reputation for animal welfare and conservation – and all in the wake of last year’s devastating fire.

‘Attendance’ at this online event is limited to 100. To register to be part of the audience, click the below Register link – details of how to login to this Zoom event will be sent to you on Monday 8th June. You will also be invited to submit a question to be put by the Chairman during the vodcast.
