Chester Women’s Aid – Domestic Abuse Awareness for Employers training opportunity for Chester SMEs

Chester Business Club has been pleased to support the Chester Women’s Aid (CWA), a small, volunteer run charity carrying out essential work.

CWA has an ambition to make Chester an Abuse-Free City.

We are helping them to spread the word about their Domestic Abuse Awareness for Employers training. They have fully funded places available for SMEs in Chester/Cheshire, with funding from the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire. It’s a one day course from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. delivered virtually on Zoom which gives employers and line managers the information and tools to support employees experiencing abuse. Attached (pdf) is their ‘one pager’ on the course, and their website also describes the course. Go to: https://chesterwomensaid.org/domestic-abuse-training/
