The event brought together local business leaders and members of the newly formed Chester South and Eddisbury Constituency.
Chester Business Club recently hosted a successful Business Hustings event in collaboration with the Tattenhall Business Alliance at the picturesque Rowton Hall Country House Hotel and Spa. Held on Monday, June 17, the evening brought together local business leaders and members of the newly formed Chester South and Eddisbury Constituency for an engaging and informative discussion.
The event kicked off with a delightful three-course dinner, enjoyed by attendees who arrived early to network over drinks. The highlight of the evening was a lively ‘Any Questions?’ style debate, expertly moderated by Jim Hancock. Guests had the opportunity to engage directly with local parliamentary candidates, submitting their questions in advance to ensure a well-rounded discussion.
Reflecting on the evening, Chester Business Club Chair, Jan Chillery, praised the event, stating, “It was another fantastic Club event at Rowton Hall, superbly organised and highly informative. The discussions were insightful, providing valuable perspectives on issues that matter to our local business community.”
Special thanks were extended to Executive Council members Richard Jenkins and Peter Broxton for their efforts in coordinating the event, which was hailed as a great success. The Chester Business Club looks forward to continuing its tradition of hosting impactful events that bring together business leaders and community members for meaningful dialogue and networking opportunities.
