5th May 2020.
May is one of my favourite months, where everything changes, the weather, the growth in nature and indeed the world is changing and our perspective on life may be challenged at the moment. I saw a lovely quote the other day which resonated with me at this time
“If we take care of the moments, the years will take care of themselves” – Maria Edgeworth
This is a time when we make choices. Appreciating the small things, perhaps that means enjoying a cup of freshly brewed, aromatic coffee, a virtual exercise class, a walk in the fresh air taking in the sounds of nature or even a hug with your loved ones. Whether this hug is with an animal or human it can add raise our spirits and add some positivity to our lives.
We continue to focus on health and wellbeing and have populated our online community hive, which we hope you will find useful through his period of change. This includes, as always, your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing. We have also connected with other therapists within our local community and have added their activities. Maybe these are things that you have not tried before, so an ideal time to rediscover what you always wanted to do, but never had the time. We are adding things to this hive regularly so please check back for new content.
We so hope that we are able to continue to help you on your journey to wellbeing, whatever that means for you. As soon as we are able to open and offer more of our usual face to face services again we will let everyone know. In the meantime, stay safe, stay home and look after yourselves. We are still here to support.
‘Because there is only one you’
