Sustainable Business Boot Camp Notification

As you will no doubt be aware, sustainability is key consideration for business growth. Put simply, sustainable business practice is not only an ethical thing to do, but also an increasingly important expectation of employees, customers and investors.  The Chester Business School (University of Chester) are running a 4-session online bootcamp course [Sustainable Business Bootcamp: People, Planet, Profit]  introducing participants to how they can grow their business with an eye on the triple bottom line – minimising environmental impact (including reducing their carbon footprint), maximising their positive social, economic and environmental contributions and giving their business a competitive advantage.  Participants will leave this workshop with a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges of truly sustainable growth, and a plan for how they can include sustainability (in all its forms) as part of their future strategy planning and operational management.

This bootcamp is funded through the Business Growth Programme and is free to eligible Cheshire based companies. It will be split across four 3-hour sessions, running from 10:00- 13:00, on:

  • Monday 28th February
  • Monday 7th March
  • Monday 14th March
  • Monday 21st March

  • Should be a Small to Medium Enterprise or Entrepreneur, ideally trading for 2+ years, keen to grow their business in a responsible and sustainable way. Younger businesses may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Must be Companies House registered or actively trading/operational in Cheshire East, Cheshire West & Chester, Warrington or Halton.
