Chester Business Club champions connections and community

From its humble origins, the Club’s intimate lunches burgeoned into a vibrant network, expanding its membership from 6 to 199 individuals, fostering an atmosphere where personal connections take precedence over corporate affiliations. Evolving beyond traditional associations, the Club hosts speaker dinners and diverse social activities, fostering engagement beyond business realms.

Distinguished local business leaders have occupied the position of Club President: Tom Hunt (Chronicle Newspapers), Andrew Wood (NWS Bank plc), Ron Smith (Landsmith Ltd), David Pickering (Meadow Foods Ltd), David Faulkner (NWN Media Ltd) and Julie Mogan (Excello Law).

From July 2023 to July 2025 the Club President is Paddy Gill (PRS Group) and Club Chair is Jan Chillery (Aaron & Partners). Immediate Past Chair is Roy Shelton (Drop Jaw Ventures). Vice Chair is Gavin Floyd (Dee Surveys)
